Some vases blend into their space. Others, like our Ubud Rice Husk vase, define their surroundings. The textured vase surface is composed of actual rice husks that have been separated from the grain, then skillfully applied to the tall, slender vase form. Afterwards, the entire vase is hand-painted in a deep, dramatic black and finished with twine rope wrapped around and around the neck.
